So sad to learn of Russ's way to early passing. I worked with him at Heights and always found him kind, caring and considerate to all he encountered. He was always so quiet but
since our offices were near each other, we shared many conversations one on one. His talent will definitely be missed.

I will never forget his playing "Stars and Stripes Forever" on the pipe organ. Such talent.

I met Russ through the Opera Southwest Chorus, which he loved and to which he devoted much time and talent. He was a kind and gentle soul, willing to give of himself, as he did with great courage and determination through his last years. He is a quiet and strong example to us all.

As a fellow member of the Opera SW Chorus, I enjoyed being in many operas with Russ, and hearing him play piano for us. He had such beautiful talent and such a kind, quiet disposition. I am greatly saddened that he went well before his time and didn't get to finish Norma with us. He will be greatly missed.
