Fifty Ways to end poverty:

#47: It's a new day, a new dawn, and, oh my, a new President elect, Donald Trump. I do believe elect Trump wants and believes he can do good things for our country.

It is fervently hoped however, he will keep the threshold of pain and fear to the barest minimum.

He has pledged to fix our country's infrastructures, (which by the way, was also an Obama incentive). Says President-elect Trump, "We are going to repair our inner cities, and rebuild our bridges, highways, tunnels, airports, schools, hospitals and we will put millions of people to work as we rebuild it."

I don't know if we have the greatest country on earth. I do know that we have pockets of poverty in this country that resemble third-world nations.

I do know that we have public-assistance programs that leave people showing their fingernails in hunger, worry, fear, and disbelief.

And I do know that the children of these programs are part of the future of America.

Having said all that, it would seem to me that a comprehensive infrastructure program would definitely be a positive and promising step in the right direction.
