Allison Camille Montano, age 49, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, formerly from Belen, NM, where she was born and raised, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, December 31, 2015. Allison was a beautiful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She has left us to go to her eternal resting place where she will be healthy and pain free once again. Allison enjoyed the last 21 years of her life as a Black Jack Dealer, first for San Felipe Casino and lastly for Sandia Casino which she called, "The most beautiful casino in the state!" Allison was also very much into physical fitness and was a very familiar face at Defined Fitness Riverside. She prided herself on keeping fit and looking her best.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her mother, Dolores Maes Montano; maternal grandparents, Prudencio Maes, Bertha and Richard Lovato; paternal grandparents, Candido and Lugarda (Lita) Montano; baby sister, MaryAnn; her madrina, Margie Tafoya, and many special others that will greet her upon her arrival in Heaven.

Allison is survived by her son, James Daniel Morrison III and his daughter Amelia, and her son Hilario Hererra and his partner Leticia and their daughter Serenity; Allison's partner, Greg Stark; her father, Hilario Montano (friend Juanita); sisters, Donna Salas and husband Vince along with their children: Diane Holloway, (Michael Holloway), Frank Holloway, Brittney Keller (husband Skelly) and Vincent Jr.; Janice Montano-Molina and husband Ruben along with their children: Shawn and Selina Montano (Tatayana); and Vanessa Montano-Crawford (Savannah, Sierra, Sydney, Branton Jr., Shelby Lynn); Karol Vallez and husband Ernie along with their children: Justin Romero (fiance Megan) and Bradley Vallez; brother, Alan Montano and wife Bernadette along with their children: Gerome Montano (partner Venesha) and Alan Jr.; Sister Misty Torres and husband Allen along with their children: Allen Jr. and Aaron; Padrino Ray Tafoya, and other special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 16th at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church with the funeral Mass beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.
