Andres A. Sisneros Obituary
Sisneros, Andres A.

Andres "Andy" Alvaro Sisneros, 79, passed away on the evening of Feb 8, 2016. He was born on April 21, 1936 to Andres Sisneros and Melecia Apodaca of San Ignacio, New Mexico.

Albuquerque is where he wed Rose (Padilla) Sisneros and became a loving father of five children: sons Chris, Rick and, Samuel Sisneros: daughters Yvette Gurule, and Yvonne Barela.

He was a loving "pampo" to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his children and grandchildren, he is survived by sisters Mary Sena and Irene Sanchez.

He retired as a hotel bellman. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved fishing, playing pool, his family, his dog Brandy. He generally assisted anyone with car or house problems. He often made unannounced visits dressed stylishly in western shirt, slacks, boots and cowboy hat.

After he had a debilitating stroke through his presence, gestures, humor and wit (even though he lost his ability to talk), and his tenderness and his strength (even though he was partially paralyzed) he showed his family who cared for him, and those that visited him, the simple pleasures and importance of sharing valuable time (life) with loved ones and a loyal dog.

He will be remembered and cherished always. Rosary and Mass will be at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 12:30, mass to follow at 1:00. Feb 12, 2016. Burial will take place at a later date at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
