Anita Corey (Carr)

Anita Corey (Carr), born and raised in Albuquerque, died on Friday 13th, October 2017 peacefully at her home in New York City.

If you knew her you will be heartbroken. She was an inspiration - a force for good - a true original - and a woman who designed her life and fulfilled her dreams in years when few women were able to do so. If you didn't know her you missed a wonderful human being.

She is survived by her three beloved children, six wonderful grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends. We all miss her now.

Sleep with the angels Anita - wait there's no time for that - rouse them with your wit - your grace - and your boundless curiosity.
