Jackie opened and operated the first arts and crafts business in Albuquerque, which she owned and operated until retirement. She also taught innumerable classes, and brought in guest artists to teach and share their talents. Many artists relied on Jackie to introduce them to new mediums for incorporation with their work.

Philanthropy was a way of life for Jackie. She was active in countless charities, especially the Assistance League of Albuquerque, and All Faiths Receiving Home. She was active in the community and served on numerous boards and projects in the arts community. She was honored by New Mexico Governor, Susana Martinez, as an Outstanding Woman of New Mexico.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, W.E. Fallis, Jr., Robert "Bob" Fallis, Thomas J. Fallis, and Paul Fallis; and a dear friend, Helen Whiteside.

Jackie never married, but is survived by six loving nieces and nephews, Robert Fallis of South Carolina, Helen Fallis Henderson of Illinois, Cavett Fallis of New Mexico, Sharon Fallis Midkiff of Arkansas, Dr. Dale Fallis of Arkansas, and Gail Fallis Tackett of Texas; one sister-in-law, Mary Fallis of Arkansas; and a host of friends and acquaintances in Albuquerque. She also loved her caregivers and companions very much. Jackie's family would like to especially thank Susan Stewart with Decisions in Care and Sherry Kinney for their exceptional support, guidance, and leadership.

A private graveside service was held Monday, August 29, 2016 in Wynne, Arkansas.
