Marquez, Antonio

Antonio Marquez passed away peacefully on March 27th, 2017. He was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico on May 22nd, 1933.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Josephine; sister, Helen Marquez; brother Eduardo Marquez; niece Sylvia Pando and great-niece, Jasmine; daughter Esther Marquez and husband Mario, Cathy and husband Chris; son Robert and wife Annie Lori; daughters Teresa and Eva; ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War & retired from Navajo/ABF, Local Teamsters 492 after 30 years of service.

A rosary will be held on Friday, March 31st 2017 at 8:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church located at 1860 Griegos Road NW, Albuquerque, followed by interment at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers Christopher Ortiz, Joseph Armijo, Adrian Marquez, Anthony Marquez, Siera Marquez and Martin Gallegos.
