Arthur Casey died on Feb 9, 2017, in San Diego. He was cremated and will be interred in New Bedford, MA, at a later date. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph; step-father Walter Dalby. He is survived by his father, Herbert Casey and wife Betty of MA; mother, Bernice Dalby of NM; brother, David and wife Kelli of FL; brother, Michael and wife Pat of ME; sister, Angelique, of AZ; a nephew and two nieces of ME.

Arthur served in the Navy Reserves. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Univ of Phoenix in 1993. He received his Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC) Board Certification in 2002.

Arthur E. Casey, was Senior Vice President of Operations for Outpatient Healthcare Strategies. He had over 24 years of outpatient healthcare experience as surgical operations manager, administrator, and senior executive. His wealth of knowledge included significant financial and operational management and oversight experience in outpatient surgery center operations. He had extensive experience in the areas of ASC "Turn Around" Acquisitions, ASC Operational Efficiencies, Financial Management, Revenue Cycle Management, Licensing, Accreditation, Compliance, Regulatory, and Facility Governance. He was an expert in ASC facility design, and development; due diligence and feasibility analysis; formation of physician partnership syndications; and Physician Relations. Over his career he held positions as ASC Administrator, Director of Operations, Regional VP, VP & Senior VP for Western Region of HealthSouth Corporations Surgery Division. His positions incl. Executive Vice President, Development Officer, interim CFO & acting COO of Consolidated Healthcare Services & Principal of his own healthcare consulting company. He was VP of Operations for ASCOA prior to accepting his current position.

He was a nationally and internationally recognized speaker & contributing author, on Outpatient Healthcare, with specific focus on outpatient surgery center operations, having spoken at the International Congresses on Ambulatory Surgical Care in London, Venice, Geneva & Boston. He published several articles with, and has made numerous presentations at meetings held by, ASCA, Becker's ASC and CASA.
