After retirement, Chet moved his family to Albuquerque, New Mexico and worked as a carrier for the US Postal Service for 20 years.

Chet was a man of devout faith and compassion, who loved all his family unconditionallyâ€" no matter how extended, and always made time for children especially. Chet loved to camp, hunt and fish when he could and could do most any project with his hands.
