Christine Bilodeau, formerly of Vassalboro, ME, currently residing in Albuquerque, NM, passed away peacefully in her home on April 24th surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer.

Christine is survived by her two children: April L. Bilodeau of Albion, ME and Paul Y Bilodeau of Albuquerque, NM; as well as grandsons Zackery, Joshua, and Christopher; and great granddaughters Baylee, Abigail, and Auraya. Additionally, Christine is survived by siblings Ann, Janet, Mary, Kenneth, Deanna, Norma, Bridget, Tommy; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews; as well as the father of her children, Richard Bilodeau.

Christine graduated from Winslow High School, Winslow, ME class of 1969 and received her associate and bachelor degrees from Thomas College. Christine worked at Scott Paper, Samantha Smith Foundation and Marden, Dubord, Bernier, and Stevens law offices in Waterville, ME, EQM in Cincinnati, OH as well as teaching CPR on Carnival Cruise Lines.

In the past Christine held offices with Big Brothers/ Big Sisters and the American Legion Auxiliary in Maine. Chris was an avid reader and had written several novels that she hoped to someday publish. Chris enjoyed genealogy and, in the past, spent much time assisting with research & typing the Campbell family history. Chris enjoyed scrapbooking in her spare time as well as traveling and enjoying new adventures.

For the past nine years Christine has been involved with the Albuquerque Stroke Club of Albuquerque, NM, holding the office of president for 3 ½ years until the time of her death.

Christine was predeceased by grandparents Robert and Mabel Bragdon, parents Robert J. Bragdon and Sylvia Brown, Aunt Corinne Desveaux, cousins Robert and John Starrett as well as her niece, Stephany Bathgate.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Riley of University of New Mexico Hospital, Dr. Camarata of University of New Mexico Hospital, the staff of UNM hospital, as well as Heritage Home Healthcare and Hospice for their compassionate care of Christine during her illness.

Memorial service to be held at Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church, 5301 Ponderosa Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM on Wednesday, May 4th at 10:00 am. Burial to be in Vassalboro, ME in late June.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Albuquerque Stroke Club or another .
