Tillie retired in 1987. She enjoyed traveling after her retirement and spending time with her family, many friends at Post 13 and the VFW, and visiting her favorite casinos. Tillie was an avid reader who continued to pursue her passion for as long as her eyesight would allow. In her last years she enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows, especially "Monk."

A Mass will be held on Thursday January 25, 2019 at 9:00 am at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Church, 5901 St Josephs Dr. NW, with a reception following.

The family would like to thank Bryce, her longtime nurse, and Compassus Hospice for their care in the final weeks.
