Clifford Harris Obituary
Harris, Clifford

1931 - 2016

USAF Retired MSgt Clifford S. Harris passed away peacefully on Saturday June 25, 2016 at the age of 84 at the VA hospital in Albuquerque. At the time of his passing, he was in the company of his loving wife Georgia, as well as his sons, their wives and his grandchildren.

Clifford retired with the rank of Master Sergeant in 1971 from the United States Air Force after twenty one years of dedicated service. After his military service, Clifford began a second career with the United States Post Office where he worked until his second retirement. He then worked as a manager of Denny's Restaurant for several years until he decided to enjoy his retirement. But even after his working days were over, Clifford was always busy doing something. Clifford was well known for his work ethic and instilled this in his children.

Clifford always cared deeply for his family and would always work hard to ensure he was able to provide his family with those things he often did without when he was growing up. Clifford was a faithful husband and father. The lessons he taught his family will always be remembered. Clifford was very much loved. His passing leaves a great void in the lives of many and he will be greatly missed.

Clifford is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings; his wife and mother of his children, Velma Christine Harris; and daughter-in-law, Debra Harris.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia; his four sons, John, Carson and his wife, Liz, William, James and his wife, Terri; as well as seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; multiple step -children and step-grandchildren.

Rest in peace and god Speed.
