Clifford Paul Warin Obituary
Warin, Clifford Paul

Clifford Paul Warin, age 90, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 9, 2016.

Cliff was born on March 17, 1925, to Steve and Irene Warin. The second of nine siblings, he was born and raised in Silver Lake, MN. At the age of 18, he enlisted in the Navy, followed by the Army, and then the Air Force. After 25 years, he retired with the rank of SMSgt at KAFB in Albuquerque in 1968, and went to work in the field of sales and marketing for the remainder of his career. At various times during that career he served as Democratic precinct chairman, a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association, Masons Lodge, Elks Lodge, and the American Legion. He will be remembered for his love of story-telling and humor, and his satirical, annual Christmas newsletters about the state of the union!

He is survived by his daughter, Rhea Warin; his sons, Mike Warin and Leroy Warin (Karen), all of Albuquerque; his grandchildren, Rebecca Bartley (Justin) of Temple, TX, Nick Warin of Albuquerque, and great-grandson, Hudson Bartley. He is survived by his siblings, Marcel, Lynn and Janice. Cliff was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Warin in 1978; his parents, Steve and Irene Warin; his brothers, Oliver, Leroy, Richard, and Alvin; his sister, Marcella; and his life partner of 35 years, Pamela Morris in 2015.
