Craig Roberts Obituary
Roberts, Craig Verne

Craig Verne Roberts ended his baptismal journey of 62+ years on August 19, 2016. His companion and friend Lucy Archamboult was at his side.

He is survived by Lucy; his brother Jeff Roberts and wife Carolyn; his nephew Capt. Robbie Roberts, U.S. Army; niece and nephew Stephanie and Adam; his son Artemus (Art) Roberts, partner Melissa, and grandson Ashton; his son Ariel (Ari); and his second family, Len and Judy Peterson, Mildred (Mommy) Peterson, and Ralphie Peterson. He will live in their memories as well as the memories of the lives he touched within his church family, the world of photography that shared his passion for the art of picture making from lens to print; the world of music that shared the stage, stage bands, recital halls, choirs, and choruses with him; and last but not least his coworkers, particularly his work family at Rio Grande.

Lucy and his family wish to thank Dr. Cintra, Dr. Bey, Dr. Storey and their staffs and the nurses, Regina, Jessica, Deanna, and Susan in the Oncology Clinic for their care and kindness during his cancer treatments. Our thanks also to Carolyne, Tannah, Sandra, and the staff of Gentiva Hospice who made his final journey one of comfort; and to all who supported us with prayers, hugs, smiles, and tears.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at All Saints Lutheran Church (4800 All Saints Road, NW, 87120) on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow. You are requested to wear Hawaiian shirts and/or bright colors to celebrate his life.
