Dale Padilla

Dale Padilla, age 57, passed peacefully from this earth on Easter morning. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso and Ernestine Padilla; sister, Hazel Coney; and brother, Doug Padilla. Dale is survived by his soulmate and life partner of 28 years, Dorothea Montano; daughter, Monique Padilla; stepchildren, Carlos (Olivia) and Stephanie Montano; grandchildren, Aiyana Lueras, Ariah Padilla, Carlos Jr., Maliyah and Ezekiel Montano, Santiago Gonzalez and great grandson Andres Vallejos; brothers, Tomas (Rita), David (Elizabeth) and Paul; sister, Carol Gutierrez; sister-in-law; Angie Padilla. He will be lovingly remembered and forever missed, as he touched many hearts with his kind and gentle soul. He would light up a room with his smile. Dale retired from the City of Albuquerque Transit Department after 25 years of service. Dale found retirement boring and was currently working as a shuttle driver for UNM. He enjoyed many camping, fishing and hunting trips with family and friends. His most memorable trips were the cruises he took with Dorothea.

A Rosary will be recited on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr., at 8:30 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will follow. We would like to thank our family and friends for all their love and support.
