Daniel Joseph Peck, 67, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, peacefully passed away on June 24, 2016, surrounded by his immediate family. The first Celebration of Life for Danny will be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on July 16th, 4 pm until 6 pm, at the Albuquerque Country Club, 601 Laguna Blvd SW, 87104. The second Celebration will be held in Washington State, TBA. In lieu of flowers please donate to either the Albuquerque , 9500 Montgomery Blvd NE, #121, 87111 or , Gardiner Home, attn: Fund Department, 1510 E. Flower St, Phoenix, Az, 85014.

Daniel was born in Tacoma, Washington on May 27, 1949. He graduated from Clover Park High School, received his Bachelor's of Liberal Arts Degree from Western Washington State University, and his Master's of Business Administration Degree from The University of New Mexico.

Danny was married to Susie K Peck (Schwartz) on August 18, 1973; they were married for 43 years.

Dan worked at Public Service Company and Gas Company of New Mexico as a Director in several areas including Electric Economic Analysis and Gas Contracts Analysis. He worked for PNM and Gas Co of New Mexico from 1972 until 2003. During the 31 years he highly valued his opportunities to make a difference and the many the long lasting friendships he developed with his colleagues. He had a special appreciation for the retiree organization, Fore Runners, for which he served as a board member.

Daniel worked hard and played hard. His hobbies included golf, fly fishing, building furniture, hiking, photography, cycling and traveling. In his spare time he doted on his children and grandchildren in person and on FaceTime.

Danny is survived by his sister, Florence Paget; spouse, Susie Peck; his son Daniel J. (DJ) Peck Jr.; daughter Sidnee K. Peck; daughter-in-law, Carrie R. Peck; and grandchildren, Jonah Ortiz, 16, Daniel J. (Tre), 9, Lilly R., 6, and Malachi R., 3.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel E. Peck and Marilyn W. Peck.
