Deanna J. (Harley) Gottschling



Deanna J. (Harley) Gottschling, formerly of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 12, 2017, in Mesa, Arizona. She was born in Oberlin on March 28, 1938, to Floyd and Elsie Harley.

She is survived by her brother, Dean Harley (Jo) of Fallon, Nevada; children, Cynthia Gottschling of Wellston, Oklahoma, Sara (Howard) Graff of Mesa, Arizona and Stanley Gottschling of Littleton, Colorado; grandchildren, Maretta Kendeigh, Allison Graff, Kenna Graff, Madeline Gottschling, Aven Gottschling and great-grandchildren, Zoe Kendeigh and Jeffrey Montgomery, Jr.; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Deanna is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Edward; twin brothers, Jack and Donald Harley and sisters, Doris Ward and Dorothy (Harold) Thompson.

Deanna was foster mother to many dogs, cats and other small animals over the years. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Arizona Humane Society, 1521 W. Dobbins Road, Phoenix, AZ 85041, or online at www.azhumane.org
