Dianne Riley Erickson, 68, of Albuquerque, NM passed away on April 18, 2016 after a courageous battle with ALS.

Dianne is survived by her husband of 49 years (let's call it 50 honey), Steve; her brother Dan Riley of Tucson, AZ.; daughter Sydne and husband Kevin Bruno; son Mike Erickson; and grandchildren Rilee, Matt and Isabella Bruno, Lucy, Charlotte, Neha and Oliver Erickson, all from Albuquerque.

Dianne touched countless lives during her career as an RN. She was an advocate for those suffering with mental illness and worked hard to educate people about these diseases. Dianne retired in 2013 after a 40 year career.

A memorial service celebrating Dianne's life will be held at 1:30pm on Sunday May 1, 2016, at Los Poblanos Farms, 4803 Rio Grande Blvd. NW, Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, NM 87107. Everyone that knew and loved Dianne is invited to attend. Please wear joyful colors and be prepared to share your wonderful stories about Dianne. A catered reception will follow the service at Los Poblanos Farms. The service will be moved inside if there is bad weather.

The Dianne Riley Erickson DNHS Class of 66 Healthcare Scholarship fund has been established to honor Dianne's lifelong work and dedication to healthcare education. Contributions to the Endowed Scholarship should be directed by mail to the Del Norte HS Alumni Association with checks written to AlumKnights, Inc. (memo line Dianne Erickson scholarship) and mailed to PO Box 93056, Albuquerque, NM 87199 or they may be made out to the AlumKnights, Inc. and given to the family and we will forward them to the Association. The AlumKnights, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 organization and all contributions are tax deductible to the extent of the law. The family wants Dianne's wonderful work to be remembered and carried on by future healthcare professionals.
