Donald H. Millenson

Don Millenson was a development engineer for Sandia Labs from 1951-1953. Decades later, on seeing a display at the nuclear museum, Don remarked: "Oh-I built that." From 1953-1984, Don contributed to advanced engineering at several companies. His CAD system saved the Apollo missions over $100K in 1968, earning Don a bonus and a NASA publication. In 1980, Don was one of 12 delegates to China on a 3-week US technical exchange program to promote international goodwill. He retired in Southern California.

Don's surviving relatives include Albuquerque residents Barbara Schmider, Andi Penner, Erin Penner Gallegos, and Avram Penner, and great-grandson, Asher.
