Doris Budris, 61, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother was called to her eternal resting place on Monday, May 22, 2017. She entered this world on February 4, 1956 in Tularosa, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vince Budris; father, Leo Aguilar; grandmother, Femia Garcia; and brother-in-law, Jim Boggio. She is survived by her daughter, Ashley (Dusty Vega); son, Jordan Budris; grandson, Cooper Vega; mother, Stella Aguilar; sister, Mary Ann Boggio; brother, Joseph Leonard Aguilar (Teresa); nephew Zack Boggio (Maria) and their children Dexter and Madison. She is also survived by many numerous relatives and friends.

Doris graduated from Tularosa High school in Tularosa, NM. She moved to Albuquerque in 1973 and began working part-time at KOAT-Channel 7. She would spend the next 18 years at KOAT. She spent the next few years as a real-estate agent and then back to broadcasting with local radio stations. She was also hired to start up the local Radio Disney station. She enjoyed the promotional side and creating events. Doris also became an owner for PM Marketing for a few years before she decided to end her career working with the Attorney General's office under Gary King.

Doris was a kind and generous soul. She was an avid traveler. Her and her husband, Vince traveled the world to different countries and would continue their many adventures with their children. She loved to fish, camp, read, water-ski, and watch movies. Doris was quite the social butterfly and she has gained so many friends along the way.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 starting with a Rosary at 9:30 a.m. and Mass to follow at 10:15 a.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd. NW. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary cemetery. Pallbearers will include, Rick Silva, Paul Silva, Jerome Garcia and Zack Boggio.
