Dorothy Boyd Cramer Obituary
Cramer, Dorothy Boyd

Dorothy Boyd Cramer, our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, peacefully passed away at home on May 29, 2016, surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born to Cecil and Mildred Moore in San Juan, Puerto Rico, August 17, 1921, where her father was employed by Libby's Food Service. Her family moved back to the states at age one. She lived in several places, including Arkansas and New Mexico. She graduated from Albuquerque High School in June, 1939. She married Ted Boyd in May of 1941. After Ted's death in 1979, Dorothy married a long time family friend, Dr. Oliver Cramer in June of 1981. This expanded her family to include both Dr. John Cramer and Dick Cramer.

She was a member of the PanAmerican Round Table for many years, an avid bridge player, a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, and loved to travel. She was active in her church, Immanuel Presbyterian, and had been a member for many years at St. John's Methodist Church.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Judith Jenkins, Barbara Hilton and her husband Clarence; son Dick Cramer and his wife Carrie; her nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and companion Kelsey of 13 years.

The memorial service will be held at St. John's Methodist Church located on Arizona NE on Sunday June 5, 2016 at 1:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, Dorothy would like donations given to UNMH Cancer Center, Joy Junction, NoonDay Ministries, or the Albuquerque Humane Society. Her wish was fulfilled to have her body donated to the UNMH Cancer Center for research.
