Dorothy Faye Murray Obituary
Murray, Dorothy Faye

Dorothy Faye

Murray

Went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 27, 2016. "Faye", to those who knew her, was an active member of Del Norte Baptist Church for many years, where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and participated in numerous committees and women's missions. During her career, Faye was an accomplished Executive Assistant for various legal and professional firms. As a faithful servant of the Lord, she was also an avid student of the Bible, writer and author. Among her proudest achievements was the completion of a certification in theological training she earned late in life from Golden Gate Seminary, and the book she authored, copyrighted and published in 2006, "Opening the Seven Seal Scroll".

Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Murray and her parents, Walter H. and Grace L. Frohock.

Surviving Faye are her two daughters: Rhonda F. Bofman and husband, Terry L. Bofman; and Karen E. Harvey and husband, Robert R. Harvey, all of Albuquerque; six grandchildren: Stephanie F. Suliman and husband, Masood, of Albuquerque; Wesley G. Bofman and wife, Dawn, of Ft. Meade, MD; Natalie R. Cordova of Albuquerque; Anna L. Johnson of Sedro-Woolley, WA; Teressa R. Trujillo and husband, Nicholas, of Albuquerque; Darrin L. Harvey of Albuquerque; and 13 great-grandchildren: Yasmine, Laila and Farah Suliman; Sophia, Elijah and Veronica Bofman; Raelyn and Naomi Cordova; Triniti, Autumn and Audrie Pytell; and Rosalyn and Raphael Trujillo. Also surviving is Faye's only sibling, her dear sister, Barbara K. Lolley of Little Rock, AR; nephew, Mikel C. Lolley of Fayetteville, AR; and niece, Theba R. Lolley of Little Rock, AR. Faye was dearly loved by both her family and the long-time members of her Sunday School class, as well as other brothers and sisters in Christ from Del Norte Baptist Church. She will be sorely missed by all.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 1st, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Funeral services will be held at Del Norte Baptist Church, 5800 Montgomery Blvd. NE, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2nd.
