Edward D. Baca
Edward D. Baca age 74, a resident of Los Ojitos passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Lovelace Hospital in Albuquerque, NM.
He was born on March 26, 1943 to Daniel Baca and Bernardina Salazar Baca in Lagunita, NM.
He loved to hunt, fish and working on his ranch. He was employed with the City of Albuquerque for 25 years retiring as a supervisor. A Catholic, he was a member of Nuestra Senora del Rosario Church in Lagunita.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Daniel and Bernardina Baca; son; Peter Baca.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Baca of Albuquerque, NM; sons Mark Baca (Frieda), Rick Baca (Arlene) all of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren Andrea Baca, Nicole Baca, Eloy Gonzales, Ricky Baca, Jr.; great-grandchildren: Eduardo Gonzales; sisters Frances Vigil; Laura Tapia (Benny); Margie Trujillo (Leroy) all of Albuquerque, NM; Bertha Ulibarri (Victor) of Las Vegas, NM, Debbi Martinez of Albuquerque, NM; numerous: nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Rosary Service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 9:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM. Funeral service will be conducted following the Rosary also at Immaculate Conception Church with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant. Interment will follow at Lagunita Cemetery in Lagunita, NM with the following serving as Casket bearers: Ricky Baca, Jr., Eloy Gonzales, Greg Maldonado, Ronald Tapia, Hubert "Doc" Anaya and Victor "Kiki" Ulibarri, Jr. Serving as Honorary bearers will be Kelly, John, Robert, Gary, Jake, Benny, Jr. "Boy", Daniel, Freddy, Jr. "Pumpkin".

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Ed. He was a very nice person, and I appreciated him as a supervisor at Liquid Waste when I worked there many years ago.
