Eldon Ritterbush Obituary
Ritterbush, Eldon "Tex"

Eldon "Tex" Ritterbush, age 77, was called to the Lord on August 19, 2016.

The Celebration of Life Service is planned for Saturday, September 24, 11:00 am, at St. John's United Methodist Church, followed by a reception in the Family Life Center.

Tex is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Kathryn; their four children Michael, Craig, Todd, and Kristina; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Tex was born on the family homestead farm in Keya Paha County, Nebraska. His parents inspired him to develop his love of God, Nebraska, family, hard work, sports, John Deere tractors, and his country. He attended the University of Nebraska where he met the love of his life, Kathryn, at a barn dance where they danced all night long and have never stopped.

His great joy and passion poured out onto everyone he came in to contact with, and every activity he was involved in. He aspired to make a difference, to do what is right, and to honor his loved ones.

He loved his 39.5 years at Sandia National Laboratories, the Lord, church, to visit with friends, coach & umpire softball, playing cards, game nights, the farm, Owl Cafe malts, UNM Women's Basketball, Nebraska Cornhuskers, volunteering at the Atomic Museum, Civitan, boy scouts & church youth group leader, and community involvement.
