Elizabeth Heissenbuttle, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother and a long-time resident of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, went to meet her heavenly father on Saturday the 14th of January, 2017 with her loving family at her side.

She was born on February 20th, 1937 on the Santa Ana Pueblo Reservation.

Elizabeth worked as a nurse for 50 years taking care of others. She began her career at Saint Josephs Hospital, transferred to Bernalillo County Medical Center and finished her career at Lovelace Health Systems, before retiring in 2008.

Elizabeth loved the company of her grand and great-grandchildren, good food, traveling and seeing the world. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and taking care of the plants she cherished.

She is survived by her loving husband Richard Heissenbuttle, they were married for 47 years. She is also survived by her sons Glenn and Charles McNeely and daughter Mary Papuyo; her daughter and son â€"in- law, Monica McNeely and Dale Papuyo, her grandchildren who she loved so much, Tessa McNeely, Alexandria Chavez, Michael McNeely, Krystle Papuyo, Charlene McNeely, Brandon McNeely and great-grandchildren, Adrian

McNeely, Monique Caviler, Elena Caviler, Mateo

Moreno, Mario and

Mikaela McNeely.

Rosary will be held January 21st at Saint Jude Thaddeus Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd NW, at 10:30 am, mass will be held immediately after the rosary. There will be a reception following mass in the church parish hall.
