Estella Cecelia Garcia, 72, of Manzano, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2016, in Albuquerque N.M.

Estella was born in Willard, N.M. to Nick and Terrie Candelaria on January 20, 1944. Estella graduated high school in El Rito, N.M. in 1962. Estella spent the early part of her career working with her husband of 51 years as a cosmetologist in Albuquerque. As was Estella's heart and passion for people, her career continued as a gifted and compassionate substance abuse counselor. Estella spent her counseling career with Care Unit Behavioral Heath, Presbyterian Behavioral Health, The Evolution Group, Desert Hills and Aliviar treatment center. Her love for helping others spanned over 35 years.

Estella is survived by her husband Napoleon Garcia; brother Albert Candelaria; and sister Marcella LeFlore; her children Clint Garcia, and Tess Malone; grandsons, Kori Piatt, Jacob Garcia & Joshua Brautigam; granddaughters, Monica Fleckenstein, Faith Malone, Destiny Malone, Giovanna Garcia, and Britni Justice. Estella is also a great-grand mother to Nekoli Piatt, Cooper and Carter Fleckenstein, and Kolten and Raina Justice. Estella was preceded in death by her parents Nick and Terrie Candelaria, and her brother Robert Candelaria.

Genuine love for others is the hallmark that describe Estella's life. She demonstrated this by her caring and sincere conversations with those she came in contact with and who could forget those warm, heartfelt hugs.

Services will be held at Calvary Chapel Albuquerque at 4001 Osuna Rd NE, on February 19th, 2016 at 11:00am. A reception to follow will be held at the American Legion Post 69 located at 9000 4th St NW at 1:00pm.
