1949 - 2016 Obituary Condolences
Felix Raymundo Mascareno Obituary
Mascareno, Felix Raymundo

Felix Reymundo Mascareno was born on August 15, 1949 and died March 13, 2016. Felix was born to Felix and Sophie Mascareno.

Felix was known to many as Ray and is survived by his son Raymond and daughter Nadia and sister Marylou. He also had five grandchildren.

Felix proudly had 41 years of military service. He started in 1973 and retired in 2015. Our father's proudest moment in his career was when he became a helicopter pilot for the U.S. Army, flying was his passion. Our father was a strong stoic man. He did not say much but he always took in his surroundings. He once said a man does not need to talk but to listen to truly understand. Our father was always imparting wisdom if you were smart enough to just listen. He will truly be missed. Our father was the type of dad that would always help and never ask for anything in return but respect and honesty. For those others that knew Felix, understood his interesting sense of humor and knew he would generally say what was on his mind if and when he wanted to be heard. We love you dad and we will miss your visits on the weekends, you will live forever in our hearts and memories. Thank you for your love and support, even though we are not ready to say goodbye. Rest easy knowing you have prepared us for the day you would no longer be here to guide us. Rest in peace dad.

Services will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 2:15 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
