Floyd Lee Gentry



Floyd Lee Gentry went to meet his Lord & Savior on December 28, 2020. Floyd was born to Dr. Francis Dawson Gentry & Martha Louise Hewes Gentry on July 2, 1943 in Lansing, MI. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sharon; daughters Janis (Nicholas) and Kathryn (Brian); grandsons Christopher, Nicholas, Dawson, Dylan and Steven; and brothers Robert (Sharon), Lawrence (Dora) and David (Gerra). He is predeceased by his parents, Dr. F. D. & Martha Gentry. Floyd & Sharon relocated to Aurora, CO from Albuquerque, NM in December 2019 to be closer to their daughters.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 11th at Mississippi Avenue Baptist Church, 13231 E. Mississippi Ave., Aurora, CO. The viewing will begin at 10 am with the service immediately following at 11 am. The graveside service for family and friends will be held at Fairmount Cemetery at 1 pm.
