In retirement, she was active in ADK Sorority where she held numerous leadership positions over the years.

Frances was a member of St. Stephen's Methodist Church where she sang in the choir.

Her greatest joys in life were caring for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as cooking and baking for her extended family and friends. She loved to quilt, sew, do needlepoint, and care for her flowers and plants. "We love and miss you, Nanny, until we meet again."
