Frank L. Sarro Obituary
Sarro, Frank L.

Frank L. Sarro, age 70, passed away Friday, May 13, 2016. Frank was born in Seattle, WA on December 28, 1945. At the age of 10, he lost his father. Soon after, he and his mother moved to Portland, CT. A few years later, a step-father entered his life.

Frank graduated from Wilcox Technical School in Meriden, CT in 1965, and enlisted into the United States Army at the time of the Vietnam War. During this time he met the love of his life in Albuquerque, Clorinda Sanchez. The two were married on August 16, 1969. During his military career, they lived in several places including Germany, Connecticut, and eventually returned to Albuquerque.

Frank worked as a Quality Control Supervisor at Aztec for 20 years. When the company closed, he accepted the same position in Laurinburg, NC, with Marley Electric.

In 2001, they returned to New Mexico and settled in Los Lunas, where he worked at Wal-Mart as a Department Manager in the garden center. It was there that he met and touched the lives of many friends with his quick humor and contagious laugh. He enjoyed working in his yard and home and being with his faithful furry kids.

Frank, or Butch as he was known to close family members, will be remembered for his sense of humor, loyalty to friends, forever the story teller, and most of all, his caring and loving heart. There was no greater love in his life than that he shared with his loving wife; an unbreakable bond. Butch will be greatly missed by his "Sis."

Those that went to Heaven before him include his father Michael G. Sarro, mother Philomena S. (Trotta) White; step-father, Raymond R. White, and many aunts and uncles.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Clorinda "Corky" (Sanchez) Sarro; sister, Michele (White) Briody and her husband, Tom; his god-daughter, Samantha Lynn; along with many cousins.

Mass will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 9:00 am, at the San Clemente Catholic Parish, 244 Luna Ave, Los Lunas, NM. A reception will follow the Mass in the parish hall.

Inurnment will take place on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 2:15 pm, at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
