Frank Lloyd Lopez was born November 20, 1941 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the age of 74. Frank graduated from Rio Grande High School in 1960 and was then a graduate of the University of New Mexico in 1967. He had perfect attendance from the 1st grade through the 12th grade, which was published in the Albuquerque Journal.

Frank was an Administrator for the City of Albuquerque for 30 years. As well, he was a basketball coach for Rio Grande and Highland High School and for Eisenhower Middle School.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bernardino Lopez; his mother, Amada Turrieta Lopez; sister, Mary Alice Lopez and by his brother, Albert A. Lopez.

Frank is survived by his sister, Dorinda A. Espinoza and husband Rick; brothers, David P. Lopez, Billy D. Lopez and wife Pearl; nephews, Richard C. Espinoza and Michael Quinones; nieces, Lisa Fowles Lopez, Gabriela Chavez-Lopez and Adriana Chavez-Lopez; great-nephews, Richard Andres Espinoza, Jon-Carlo V. Espinoza, Troy Michael Quinones and Marcellus Sebastian Chavez-Lopez Orukpe; great-nieces, Alexis R. Espinoza and Deja Quinones; fond memories of his pet dogs, Rocky and Max; as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss him.

Services will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1600 Arenal Blvd. SW. on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 9:00 am. Burial will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery on Coors and Arenal SW. Pallbearers will be David P. Lopez, Billy D. Lopez, Rick Espinoza, Richard C. Espinoza, Michael Quinones and Alfred Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe A. Montoya, Walter Lopez and Rudy Beserra. The family would like to specially thank On-Pointe Hospice, Friendship Guardians, Wilma Ulibarri and Lupita Abeyta for their love and care for Frank in our time of need.
