Ginny Nathan

Born Virginia Elizabeth Warner in Lawrence, Kansas, Ginny moved with her family to Austin, Texas as a child. She graduated from the University of Texas in Austin and married Bill Tiemann in 1952. They raised three children - Karen, Steve, and Andy - in Dallas, Texas. In later years Ginny worked in child development, hospital administration, and for Visiting Nurses. She ended her professional career as the Director of Volunteers for Baylor Rehabilitation Hospital in Dallas.

Ginny married Tom Nathan in 1985, and in 1998, they fulfilled their dream of retiring to Albuquerque. They built a home on Monte Rosso, on the West Mesa. Ginny and Tom enjoyed many happy hours playing bridge at the Meadowlark Senior Center. They traveled and also relished experiences of Southwest art and Native American culture. Ginny served in leadership positions with PEO and with the Rio Rancho Presbyterian Church. She especially enjoyed the ministry of Pastor Kathy and the fellowship of the faith community at Rio Rancho Presbyterian.

Ginny is survived by her children Karen (Bill) Blackwell, Steve (Malia) Tiemann, and Andy Tiemann, four grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Memorial gifts can be made to the Children's Ministry Fund at Rio Rancho Presbyterian Church, 1004 24th St. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
