Fjeseth, Lt.Col. (Ret) Glenn Harold E.

Glenn Harold Edwin Fjeseth, April 10, 1918 to December 24, 2016, son of Reverend Gustav Olson Fjeseth and Helga Halverson Fjeseth passed away on December 24, 2016.

Born in Sutton's Bay , Michigan, he moved several times as he grew up. He graduated from high school in Bozeman, Montana and attended Minnesota Teacher's College. There he met and married Caroline Evelyn Kroeger.

He joined the Army Air Corp in WWII and served as a navigator on a B 29 flying from Guam until the war's end. He served as the Strategic Air command Resident Representative at Kirkland AFB for many years. He retired from Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City after a three year tour in Germany. He retired in 1970,from the Air Force, with over 29 years of service.

Upon his return to Albuquerque he opened a clock repair shop , M & H Clockworks . He was very active in the Boy Scouts through St. Timothy's Lutheran Church's Troop #295.

He was preceded in death by his son Ronald, and his wife Caroline. He is survived by his son Wayne Fjeseth and family of Moore , Oklahoma and his daughter Karen Sickler and family of Happy, Texas , five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He will be buried with his wife, Caroline and son Ronald in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Memorial services will be January 13, 2017 at 2:00 pm at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church.
