Kinyon, Helen Irene Foos

On Thursday evening March 23, 2017 Helen Irene Foos Kinyon (embroider extraordinaire) went to join her life partner Melvin D. Kinyon (inventor of the Boot Saver).

She was the 8th of 12 children born to German parents who came to this country from Russia. They all preceded her in death except her sister Mary Good (Bob) of Ft. Morgan, CO. She is also survived by daughter Karol Mannon (Ron) of T or C; son Mike Kinyon of Albuquerque; grandson Todd Mannon of Los Lunas; granddaughter Kori Mannon (Scott Kennicutt) of Taos, granddaughter Traci Woods (Kyle Smith) of T or C; great-

granddaughter Logan Woods of T or C, Bryanna Wasko-Mannon (Chris Montoya) of Las Vegas, NV, and many nieces and nephews all of whom she loved very much.

She made many friends while working at 1st National Bank, bowling on leagues, playing bridge, trips to Elephant Butte, participation in what Mel loved to refer to as "water polo" (water aerobics), and her neighbors were all very important and dear to her.
