Helen L. Lynam Obituary
Lynam, Helen L.

Helen Louise Lynam, age 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at her place of residence (Casa Angelina), in Albuquerque NM. She was born on November 11, 1922, to Ella and Carl Westberg, the sixth of seven children. Helen was the only girl among six brothers. Having been raised on a farm in northern Idaho, Helen learned how to love, to care for others, to have a strong work ethic, to do without, and how to hold her own in the face of adversity. After the war, Helen married Glenn Lynam on June 7th, 1947 and enjoyed a loving and fulfilling marriage for 49 years as believers in the Lord Jesus. They were active in their Christian community until Glenn went to be with the Lord in December, 1996. She was the attentive and caring mother of four children who appreciated and loved her dearly. Mom was a faithful woman who loved her husband and family. She loved spending time with her granddaughters and grandsons. She enjoyed gardening and the company of her pets through the years: Cocoa, Mitzy, Yummy, and Lucy.

Helen is survived by her children and spouses Carol and Gary Bush of Richland, WA.; Robert and Patricia Lynam of Crosby, MN; Mark and Jodi Lynam of Albuquerque, NM; and her grandchildren (and their spouses) Kristin Sargent; Erin Casch; Lisa Toner; Brigid Lynam; Benjamin and Carly Allen; and Matthew and Michael Lynam; and her great-grandchildren Lincoln and Roman Casch; Jillian and Grayson Sargent; Adaline Toner; and Maverick and Zayden Nix.

Helen is preceded in death by her husband Glenn and daughter Kathryn Allen.

The memorial service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on July 2, 2016 at 2:00 pm at 508 N. Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224, (509) 838.8900. Visitation will be held one hour prior to memorial service. Interment to follow at Spokane Memorial Gardens.
