Herbert L. Conner





On Monday, August 6, 2018, Herb Conner, CMSGT USAF, Ret., passed away in his sleep at Bee Hive Hospice care in Albuquerque, NM. He enlisted in the USAF in 1955 retiring in 1985 from Kirtland Air Force Base. He served in Vietnam and won 8 distinguished flying crosses, a bronze star, Purple Heart among 26 other medals during his career. He was a faithful Christian, warrior, patriot, husband, father and friend. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Leah, three daughters, their families and children as well as two stepsons, their families and children all of whom gave him great pleasure and pride. He will be cremated and interred at the Santa Fe, NM National Cemetery. No reception is planned. Godspeed and high flights.
