September 13, 1920 Philadelphia, Mississippi â€" March 21, 2017 San Antonio, Texas.

Jake Adcock, Lt Col USAF (ret) is survived by sons Jacob, Jr "Pete" (Patti), Michael (Laura) and Mark (Margaret); six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister Edith Shoemake of Laurel, Mississippi and brother Gaines of San Jose, California. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Maralyn, and brothers Jesse, Windol & Perry.

Jake served as a Navy pilot in the Pacific during WWII and an Air Force pilot in Korea, retiring to Albuquerque, New Mexico after 23 years of service. He was a businessman and collector of fine automobiles. In 1988 he and Maralyn moved to San Antonio, Texas.

He will be buried at The National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico with full Honors on April 21.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to your local Alzheimer's or Autism Societies.
