Jim Clark, age 80, a resident of Veguita, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2015. Jim was a member of First Baptist Church of Belen. He was also an active member of the NRA and SASS, a cowboy action shooting club. Jim coached YAFL for 15 years. He also coached basketball in El Paso, TX for 17 years. He was a past member of Torrance County Sherriff's Posse. Jim played on a semi-pro football team called the El Paso Ramblers.

He was preceded in death by father, Ernest Clayton Clark; mother, Maxine Grace Goan. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Janet Clark; daughter, Jeanell Atkinson and her husband, Joe; sons, James Craig and wife, Linda, Jon and his wife, Stephanie, Justin, and Jason and fiance, Tracy; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Clark and his wife, Elizabeth of El Paso, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be held on Wednesday, December 30 at First Baptist Church of Belen beginning with a viewing at 9:30 AM, followed by the funeral service at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Terrace Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joseph Chavez, Steve Caron, Jordan Pareo, Phil Gregory, Allen Hancock and Phil Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Wilson, Bob "Moon" Mullins, Ike Clark, Jimmy Loren Clark, Steve Sluder and Paul Ridley.
