Johnnie Mae Jepson, age 67, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home amongst family and loved ones on December 28th, 2016 after battling cancer. Johnnie was born on May 23rd, 1949 in Clovis, New Mexico, and resided in Albuquerque.

Johnnie is survived by her loving family; sister Peggy Best-Brown and her husband Jerry Brown; son Jason John Jepson, daughter Jodie Lynn Jepson and her partner Cara Lemon; grandchildren Dylan Jepson, Dax Jepson, and Brody Jepson-LaTurner, former husband and father of her children, John G. Jepson, and her beloved cat Annie.

Johnnie's passions included fishing, traveling, outdoor adventures, precious time amongst family, friends, and animals. Johnnie will be remembered as a kind, giving, loving woman, who loved and lived life to the fullest. Johnnie encouraged her children to pursue their goals and dreams, and above all, to always be kind and to love one another. Her life of the party attitude will forever be imbedded in all of our memories of her and her unconditional love for her family.

Services are scheduled for January 2nd, 2017 at 2:00pm at the Cathedral Church of St. John, 318 Silver St. SW 87102. Everyone is welcome to attend and celebrate Johnnie's life.
