Joseph B. Pino Jr. Obituary
Pino, Joseph B. Jr.

Joseph B. Pino Jr., 73, passed away in his home in San Tan Valley, AZ, with his wife Becky by his side, after a long illness. He was born in Washington, DC on August 8, 1942. Joe entered the Navy after high school and married Marsha M. Miller in 1963. Just prior to discharge, they had their first son, Jo-Jo. He then went on to earn a degree in Dentistry, had a daughter, Susie, and then packed up and moved to Albuquerque, NM, where he and Marsha had two more children, Sandy and Tina. Joe became a very successful dentist and enjoyed treating his patients as family until he decided to retire in 1999. Joe was an avid golfer and enjoyed planning golf trips/tournaments with his buddies. He enjoyed his first retirement trip to Italy, which was one of many places to visit on his bucket list. Joe was an excellent cook and enjoyed being the host to many get-togethers. He fell in love and married Rebecca Statler in April 2008.

They became official "snowbirds" when they bought a home in San Tan Valley, AZ, and would spend warm winters for one-half of the year there and the other half fishing and golfing at their home in Pagosa Springs, CO. Joe and Becky loved to travel, golf, and play poker with their friends in AZ.

Joe is survived by his wife, Rebecca; son, Joe Pino III and Brigid of Scottsdale, AZ; three daughters, Susie and Dick Goeden of San Tan Valley, AZ; Sandy Pino of Clearwater, Fl, Tina Pino of Clearwater, FL; two brothers, Tony Fortino of Mount Dora, FL and Walter Pino of Myrtle Beach, SC; two sisters, Judy Beddingfield of Wake Forest, NC, and Helen Blume of Bethesda, MD; five grandchildren, Keagan Williams of Phoenix, AZ, Genesis Pino of Clearwater, FL, Chelsea Holman of Albuquerque, NM, Alyssa Pino of Las Vegas, NV, James Pasco of Clearwater, FL.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Pino; his former wife, Marsha Pino; and brothers, Louie Pino and Charlie Pino.
