Trujeque, Josephine R.

Josephine R. Trujeque also known to many as "Fina" was born March 24th, 1928 in Albuquerque New Mexico. She was called home to be with our heavenly father August 20th, 2017 at the age of 89. Josephine will leave a legacy as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Josephine always welcomed everyone in her home. The aroma of fresh tortillas and home cooked meals will be missed as she was a great cook. Josephine truly enjoyed cooking for her loved ones. When she wasn't in her kitchen, you could surely find her in the yard. She loved her green grass, rose bushes, garden and apricot tree alongside her companion Spanky.

Josephine was also a long time parishioner of Saint Francis Xavier Church. She volunteered her time to Saint Vincent de Paul and was a respected Guadalupana. She enjoyed singing in the choir.

Josephine is preceded in death by her husband Henry C. Trujeque; Parents- Ignacio Ramirez Sr. and Manuela Ramirez; Brothers Fernando, Jesse, Bobby, Bobby Juan, Tony and Ignacio Jr.; son in law Conrad Romero; granddaughter Carley Quintana.

Josephine is survived by her daughters; Laura Romero, Valerie Martinez and husband Julio, and Karen Fredrick; ten younger sisters Anne Romero, Dolores Abeyta, Esther Barela, Della Martinez, Mary Hanna, Lupe Tafoya, Margaret Garduno, Angel Verderame, Frances Griffith, and Rose Ryan; two brothers Rudy Ramirez and Sigfredo Ramirez; grandchildren; Carlos Romero and wife Marlene, Jessica Lucero and husband Phillip, Claudio Bachicha and wife MoniQue, Tia (Tortilla) Martinez and husband James, Andrea Romero and Rachael (Pinon) Romero; great-grandchildren Marissa, Caylee, Carley, Kadarina, Mercedes, Jack, Alexis, Mariska (Sunshine), Miles, Marcos, Angelo, Santiago, and Reyez; great-great-grandchildren Josiah and Lillia.
