Karen F. Beeson



Karen F. Beeson, 71 of Edgewood, NM died December 23, 2017. She was born in Reno, NV January 17, 1946 to Harriet and Mel McDonald. Karen grew up in Albuquerque in a large extended family. She loved animals, gardening, cooking, horseback riding, RVing, and dancing. Karen raised exotic birds for many years and loved bird watching. She worked as an optician in Albuquerque until moving to Edgewood in 1997.

She is survived by cousins she grew up with,

Katherine (Kaye) Gossett, of Albuquerque and

Harriet (Peggy) Jenks, of Edgewood, NM; and her brother Ray Craig, of

Seattle, WA. She is also

survived by her husband of 33 years, David E. Beeson; her son Kevin Adkins of Albuquerque; and her daughter Julie Foster of Oak Ridge, TN. Karen had two granddaughters, Jamie Herrera and Stephanie Adkins Wells; great-granddaughters Miriah and Jasmine; and a grandson, Kevin Adkins, of Albuquerque. She also leaves stepsons Aaron Beeson and wife Darla, and

Christopher Beeson and his wife Danielle of Texas City, TX and their families.

Family and friends will celebrate her life at a memorial at St. Michael and All Angels Church, 601 Montano Rd. NW, Albuquerque, January 13, 2018.
