Karen Morelock

Karen "Saint Karen" Morelock was born on May 23, 1953 and passed away with her family by her side on January 26, 2018. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, John Morelock; her daughters, Tracy and Audry Morelock; and her grandchildren, Skylar Paden and Zachary Lynn. She loved to travel and had many adventures with her traveling pal Marilyn Bujak.

She retired from Presbyterian Hospital after 39 years of being a respiratory therapist. During her time at Presbyterian, she had many accomplishments including receiving Respiratory Therapist of the Year because of her innovative work that inspired better care and changes in hospitals around the country.

She met her second family when she joined the F3 Fun, Food and Friends Car Club.

Karen never had a negative word to say about anyone or anything, which is how she earned her nickname "Saint Karen." She will be missed greatly by her friends and family, so we can be reassured that she will continue to come back to make the world a better place.

Cremation has taken place and the family would like to invite everyone to attend a celebration of life on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at The Inn at Rio Rancho, from 3 pm-6 pm. As Karen wanted, in lieu of flowers please call Friends of the Bosque, (575) 838-2120 to make a donation.
