Karen Ann (Langell) Rose

Karen Ann (Langell) Rose, age 76, went to be with the Lord on September 26, 2017, passing away unexpectedly. Karen was born on May 31, 1941, in Wooster, OH. Karen graduated from Valley High School in 1959, and then earned her bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at the University of New Mexico.

Karen is the daughter of Jack and Ethel Langell, owners of the first art supply store in Albuquerque, known as Central Sign & Art Supply and then later named Langell's Art Supply. Karen enjoyed the beauties of art and travel. She even climbed the outside of the great pyramids in Cairo with her brother Bob. She went to Israel this year and already had planned to go next year. Karen was known for her loving kind heart and beautiful spirit. Karen adored her church, family and friends. Her presence, smile and enormous generosity will be dearly missed.

Karen is survived by her brother, John Langell; niece, Debbie Galloway; nephew, James Langell; son, Jeff Rose and wife, Jerri and children, Cole and Lydia; daughters Julie Jones and children, Chris, Lauren, Amber, Ashley and husband, Blayne; Ann Marie and husband, Bruce Dominguez and children, Kiara and Aric. Karen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ivan Rose, identical twin sons, Ivan Lee and Jack Stewart; parents, Jack and Ethel Langell; her brothers, Dick and Bob; and nephew, Rick Langell. Pallbearers are Jeff Rose, James Langell, Bruce Dominguez, Cole Rose, Chris Jones and Aric Dominguez.

A visitation will be at FRENCH - Wyoming on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. On Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. a viewing will be held at Calvary Chapel of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna Rd. NE with a Funeral Service to follow at 12:30p.m., with a reception following at Calvary Chapel. Following the reception Karen will be laid to rest at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Moriarty, NM.
