Katherine Lee

Was born 6 August 1955 in Orange, New Jersey. She was the oldest daughter of T. Hugh and Ann (nee Stone) Nelson.

She was the beloved wife of Pam Brandes. They were united in marriage on 26 July 2005 in Alberta, Canada.

One of Katherine's great loves was music. She played the trumpet in high school and college for the Orchestra and marching bands. Music brought Katherine and Pam together. Katherine passed early on the morning of Friday 15th of January 2016 after a lengthy illness.

She is survived by her wife Pam; Pam's children Eve and Al; two grandchildren; her mother Ann; and her sisters Pat and Peg.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday the 23rd of January at 3:30 pm at First Unitarian Church.
