Larry Wm Gnadt

Lt Colonel Larry Wm Gnadt (USAF, Retired) passed away on August 27, 2017 after living with an illness for 28 years that eventually took his life.

Larry was born on April 20, 1946 in St Louis MO. He spent 17 years in the Air Force before suffering a service-connected injury which ended his career. For 28 years Larry continued his attempts to regain his abilities prior to his injury.

Larry leaves Paulette, his wife, children; Scott, Stephen, Bill, and Jennifer; all his family and many friends who love and miss him.

Many thanks to the medical team led by Dr. David Olson and also the hospice team led by Dr. Tamara Goodman. We are truly grateful to them as well as all who helped Larry at the VAMC in Albuquerque, NM.

Larry will always be remembered for fighting the good fight, finishing the course and keeping the faith, as Paul said in 2 Timothy 4:7. We know Larry is with his Lord and Savior because Paul told us so in 2 Corinthians 5:8 when he said, "I prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord."

We will celebrate Larry's life with a Memorial Service on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at 1100 at Monterey Baptist Church, 12501 Lomas Blvd NE. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4Th St. NW.
