Taylor, Leona Marie

Leona M. Taylor, beloved wife, mother grand and great grandma passed away peacefully on March 13, 2017. Leona was just a few weeks shy of her 88th birthday.

She was born in Emporia Kansas to Claude and Clara Dreasher.

Leona moved to Albuq. in 1948, were she built her home. Our deepest regret is that she wasn't able to be in her home of 65 years at the end.

She was a hard working, strong willed, witty, determined mother of four, who touched so many lives along the way. She is loved by so many and will be dearly missed.

Leona was very active in her community. She loved to sew, work in her garden, read, be with her grandchildren whom she dearly loved.

Leona was preceded in death by her daughter Glenda; husband William Taylor; two sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include three children, and numerous grand and great grandchildren.

A simple graveside service will be Saturday 10:30 on March 18, 2017 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
