Manuel A. Duran

Manuel A. Duran "Manny" of Albuquerque, New Mexico went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 5, 2018. Manuel was born on April 2, 1936 in Denver, Colorado. He was a veteran and proudly served in the United States Army.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was known to make friends easily and was loved by many. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool, watching golf and the Broncos. He loved to talk and joke around with family and friends. He loved his Heavenly Father and through his love was a mentor to many and a soldier for Christ.

Manuel is survived by his wife, Janice Duran; children, Michael Duran (Terri), Mark Duran,

Matthew Duran (Brenda), Dina Duran-Quintana (John), Adrianna Duran-Leon (Mikey); grandchildren, Tyler Duran, Michael Duran, Jared Duran, Kylan Duran, Vanessa Quintana, Josslyn Duran, Madilyn Duran, Grace Duran; great-grandchild, Sylas Duran; sisters, Belle Martinez, Stella Cordova; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Miguel and Sylviana Maes; sisters Emma Maes and Odie Maes.

Services will be on March 15, 2018 at 10:00 am at Casa Del Rey, 2500 Corona Dr. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120. Reception to follow.
