Manuel Teran Obituary
Teran, Manuel "Mario"

Manuel "Mario" Teran, 80, returned to his heavenly home on September 22, 2016. His wife Joan, of 37 years, was by his side.

Mario's devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his journey and ultimately gave him peace.

Mario was a kind and good father. He always found time to play with his grandchildren and then great-grandchildren. He will be missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his creator.

He was a devout Christian whose love outweighed his kindness.

A contractor by trade, with the support of his wife, his innovated thinking and honesty contributed to his success. Together they built and created a home for three generations of children.

He was a Deacon at Emanuel Baptist Church. He loved has church as well as his brothers and sisters in Christ.

Mario leaves behind his devoted wife Joan; his sons Hector and Nelly Teran, Gerardo Teran, Michael Barreras and Helen Moreno, Richard and Kathy Trujillo, Joseph and Philane Chavez; his daughters Mariana Teran, Kathy Barreras-Madrill, Diana Barreras, Alice Chavez and Patricia Chavez {Teran}; his brothers Alvaro and Natalia Teran and Jesus and Isaura Teran; sisters Esperanza Teran and Rita and Sergio Cuevas; numerous nieces & nephews; 23 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

We would like to thank Heartland Hospice for all their wonderful support.
