Cordova, Marcia L.

Marcia, age 65, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother was embraced by the Lord Jesus and taken to Eternal Life, Tuesday, April 19, 2016. She was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM and a member of the Catholic community. Marcia enjoyed life to it's fullest. Her hobbies and interests included dancing, camping, fishing, and bowling; she was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosendo Garcia and Lucy Aguilar; her son, Timothy Cordova; and brothers, Jimmy and Eugene Garcia. Marcia is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Phillip Jimmie Cordova; her children, Dina Cordova and friend Eddy Castillo, Daniel Cordova and wife Nancy; her precious grandsons, Andrew Maestas and girlfriend Marisa Down, Daniel Ray Cordova, Geno Lopez, Timothy Aubert and Christopher and Isaac Cordova. Also surviving are her sisters, Dolores "Dodo", Christina "Punky", Denise, and Carla; brother, Alfie; mother-in-law, Julia Cordova; several God children and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Marcia will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

A Rosary will be recited Monday, May 2, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Garcia Mortuary in the Chapel of The Angels, located on the corner of 8th St. and Iron. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 306 Stover Ave., SW. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Reception will follow burial at Prestige Event Center, 2109 5th St. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
